In this modern retelliing of Chekhov's masterpiece, an aspiring director rampages against the art created by his mother’s generation, a young actress wrestles with an aging Hollywood star for the affections of a renowned novelist---and the entire miserable cast discovers just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be. An evening of short comic plays. including "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls," by Christopher Durang, directed by Jenn Dunn; and "Lemonade," by James Prideaux, directed by Jonathan Perry.
This evening of short comedies pokes fun at American dreams, icons, and, well, reality. Truly this will not disappoint for a Daisy's Madhouse way of saying Happy Holidays.
